The Friends of St Marys Church is an organisation set up to support the Fabric of St Marys Church and develop friendship and fellowship within our Parish.

That means that we raise money, largely through social events, to maintain and improve the Church buildings that sit at the heart of our community. What we don’t do is fund the clergy / ministry of the Parish, that’s done directly by the Diocese.

We have a number of subscribed members of the organisation from whom we draw members of our organising committee.

Our hardworking committee of volunteers arrange and facilitate fundraising social events within our village community throughout the year.

Our next event is our Annual General Meeting which will take place January 10th and be accompanied by a FREE Afternoon Tea.

Additional events already planned for this year include our ever popular ‘prize’ quiz which this year will be accompanied by a fish and chip supper and Harvest Supper with other events already in the planning.
