Join us for the return of The Teddy Bears Picnic!

This week will see JC present the joyful Teddy Bears Picnic 2026.

Created by JC for everyone, you are warmly invited to join us, whether you come to mass or not, this is a community event.

Throughout the afternoon an array of activities will be available for all ages, including making your own parachute for your teddy to wear when s/he flies from the Church Tower!

Bring a picnic, bring your teddies and enjoy a good old fashioned afternoon. We might even have one of our infamous St Marys Raffles too!

All teddies that successfully land within the Church grounds will receive a certificate!

Please meet 0945 if joining us for Mass, younger children will need an adult to remain with them.

St Mary’s welcomes families every week to join us, regardless of whether it’s an official JC Sunday or not. JC have fund raised for and purchased items, creating a space dedicated to the children and young people of the church community.

We understand that SEN families, children and young people are not designed to sit still and be silent for long periods of time and that Mass can be tricky.

This space allows families to remain included and part of the service, as a family and without feeling stressed or pressured.
