2026 London Marathon update

A few words from Fr Rod on the experience,

‘Firstly though, thank you! I have read all your messages and appreciated every single one.

The race was tough and painful at times. Throughout though the crowds were amazing, so much noise and support the whole way along. It was brilliant to see family and friends on the sidelines too, which gave me such a lift just when I needed it.

There were some tough moments but also fantastic ones too. Tower Bridge was incredible, encouraging others in their race, the commaraderie, and the utter joy in seeing the finish line.

An unforgettable experience.’

We are all very proud of Fr Rod. His third, and final, marathon completed. Sponsorship over the course of these marathons has raised an incredible amount of money for a very worthy charity, Mid and North East Essex Mind. this marathon alone raising almost £5000.
