Remembrance 2020

On Remembrance Sunday, we will open from 9am, so should you wish to wander down to church you are very welcome. The Altar of Remembrance has a number of poppies which you can add the name of loved ones you are remembering at this time.

Just before 11am in the churchyard there will be a short prayer, then the Last Post will be played, and those present will mark the 2 minute pause. Closing with Reveille and the singing of the National Anthem. For those at home, we are being encouraged to stand in silence on our doorsteps at 11am.

An Act of Remembrance can be seen on our YouTube channel from 10.45am on

This will include our hymn, ‘I vow to thee’, the reading of the names of the Fallen from Bocking, followed by the Last Post and 2 minute silence. Our service will conclude with the National Anthem.
